Animal Communicators - How Do They Work?
by Joyce Leake (excerpts from Maverick Press, October 2002)
How many times have you wished that you and your horse could just sit down and have a conversation that answers all the questions you've been dying to ask? What if you could have that conversation- or something very close to it?
Animal communicators are stepping in and filling your request as barns and horse people hire them to answer those questions and more. As animals share their point-of-view, an added benefit seeps in- secrets, on how the animal-human relationship gets a jump-start.
How does it work? Communicators may differ in their opinion but they all agree that it's a matter of honing their sense differently than the rest of us... call it psychic, telepathy, or intuition. Whatever it is, the results speak for themselves; "eye-opening," "fascinating" and just plain, "wow."

Your horse who's suddenly "in your space" could simply be crying out his insecurity... |
Some communicators need to be in the physical presence of the animals with whom they are working, for others, a phone conversation works...even with animals in another part of the country. It's not exactly like Eddie Murphy in Dr. Dolittle, or like Mr. Ed in the old TV show; it's more like gathering snippets of information or pictures when one relates to the animal. This also includes discovering aches and pains, which may explain certain behaviors. In the animal-human relationship, sometimes the information snapshot exposes what could be missing and thereby offering insights as to how to fix it.
. The swish of a tail may be more than just aggravation from flies; why your horse who's suddenly "in your space" could simply be crying out his insecurity, how his aloofness really indicates his desire to be closer to you, etc.
. Connecting with the horse, my face "felt" the pain of a swollen, aching tooth. The horse had a terrible abscess verified by the follow-up veterinarian's appointment...
. It used to be that communicators were called into a situation as a last resort. But that's changing from a "Let's wait and see" attitude to "Why wait." Animal communication provides inside information to better guide you, the responsible horse owner, to make proper decisions.
