Every now and then you pick up a book which makes you think “Wow – I must read this.” When I opened the mail to find the preview copy of Decoding the Mystery of Interspecies Communication such were the overwhelming feelings that I had. Flicking through the manuscript the first thing that I noticed was that this book contains universal truths taught by the animals themselves – and that is what makes this book so outstanding. All 4 sections of the book are skilfully intertwined and there is something here for those who are new to animal communication as well as the more experienced practitioner. The style of writing too within this essential guide is quite beautiful; a wonderful blend of academic scientific personal experience and guidance. The tips and exercises will enable anyone who wishes to do so to progress to a high level as an animal communicator. Above all the soul energy of Joyce Leake and Vickie Wickhorst shines through and that gives the book a heart. Of course inter-species communication is all about effective congruent and authentic human communication skills too. This topic is expertly interwoven throughout the text. All of the lessons offered therefore have a cross-over into aspects of our everyday lives and this makes the read even more fascinating. In our fast moving world where humans are increasingly out of synch both with themselves and their environment, knowing what real communication is and how to be effective at it is not just interesting rhetoric. It’s an essential skill to rekindle and to develop and who better to be our teachers than the master communicators themselves – the animals in our lives. Decoding the Mystery of Interspecies Communication intelligently, empathically and critically shows the numerous ways that we can converse with animals and how to take that skill beyond to help with all aspects of our every day lives. Without the hindrance of verbal language and which can be manipulated and distorted for personal gain, animals naturally only communicate truths. That is their reality. Humans are part of nature… and to fulfil our role we must do far more than ignore or halfheartedly attempt to communicate with the other species within nature. Until we listen to the unseen language, understand its communication network and become personally involved with it then we are not effective at any level. This is why I believe that there is increasingly so much inner turmoil in people because deep down our heart and soul yearns for us to synchronise with the universe and which brings with it a deep sense of inner peace. We humans must become fluent in the cosmic language. Only by doing so is our future assured. The sign of a great teacher is that they are able to trigger within someone insights and resolutions: this is achieved both by observation skills and the guidance that they receive from a higher consciousness. In other words the teacher is listening to the universal energy system through which all life communicates. A great communicator can converse with any species seeing and understanding the bigger picture. Animals are expert communicators even though humans frequently don’t listen to them or understand what they are saying. Joyce Leake and Vickie Wickhorst are also adept as powerful teachers and communicators as this book so ably illustrates. Their connection to animals is deep and genuine and which is why the book has the ‘wow’ factor that so grabbed my attention. As Joyce and Vickie succinctly point out there is nothing mysterious about intuitive communication. To those who take the step into practising it it becomes the norm. The authors promise that by the time you finish reading through these pages you will be able to intuitively hear and talk to animals. What I particularly like are the explanations offered as to why and how this is possible. It’s important too that people are able to feel comfortable about telling others about their skills and through this book the authors enable readers to understand how to do just that. I am hugely honoured to be one of the first people to read this important work. Decoding the Mystery of Interspecies Communication succeeds on every level in offering amazing insight explanations and wonderful case studies about the reality of interspecies communication. A book that I shall treasure and wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.
